In these troublesome times, people are talking about the Mark of the Beast. A young man said, “Why don’t we talk about the Mark of the Lamb?” To understand what the Mark of the Lamb is about, we must know what the Mark of the Beast is.

Satan’s plans for all Christians is to steal, kill, and destroy! He was a murderer, there is no truth in him, the father of lies! (John 10:10a; 8:44) But Jesus has come that we may have an abundant life! What does the anti-christ want to do? In Revelation 13:11-18, empowered by Satan and when the entire world is in chaos, he will appear to remedy all problems, being a world savior! All people will have to receive a Mark of the Beast on their hand or forehead which will be 666! What are the characteristics of end times? In Matthew 24:3-28 there will be earthquakes, wars, famines, pestilence, people will turn on others to kill, and the love of God will grow cold, disintegrating families! 

What does the Bible say about a “mark?” In Genesis 4:8-14 God put a mark on Cain for killing his brother Abel. The second mentionis in Ezekiel 9:4-5 where God wanted to mark all who were crying about the sins of their nation. Are we crying over the sins of our nation? In Psalm 37:37-40 God says mark the blameless man, for his future is peace! God is looking for righteous in His children (Psalm 11:4b-6

The whole Bible is about loving God and people! God wants us to cast off darkness and put on armor of light. Awake from sleep, put on Jesus, and make no provision of the flesh. (Romans 13:8-11) In Ephesians 1:13-14, God gave the Holy Spirit inside true believers as a seal to spend eternity with Him! Revelation 14:1-5 talks about the Jews being saved in the tribulation period were redeemed because they gave their lives to Jesus! Mark of Lamb will help us to get ready for Jesus’ coming. God was willing to give His only Son to be made a sin offering for our salvation. (John 3:16-21; 14:6) Even when we were dead in sin, God made us alive in Christ. Salvation is my grace and not by works. (Ephesians 2:4-10) In Deuteronomy 6:5-9 we are to Love God with all your heart, soul, and strength and teach your children diligently. (Cf. Mark 12:30) In Colossians 1:1314, 2:13-14, God will deliver us from the power of darkness by nailing our sins to His Cross!In Philippians 3:12-21 press toward the mark of high calling of God, in Christ Jesus, fulfill His purpose!
